  1. 4th of July Celebration

    July 4, 2018, 4:00 PM - 9:45 PM @ Kate Barr Ross Memorial Park

    The Parks and Leisure Department will be hosting its 4th of July Celebration Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Kate Barr Ross Park and the Huntsville Aquatic Center! Start your Independence Day by cooling off with a dip in the pool at the Huntsville Aquatic Center! Admission is FREE that day. The pool will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! Concession will be open; prices vary. No outside coolers at the pool please. After you're done splashing around, come on over to Kate Barr Ross Park for some family fun! Admission into the park is FREE and activities begin at 4:00 PM. They include face painting, a balloon artist, an airbrush artist, leather working, bounce houses, rock wall, karaoke, watermelon eating contests and more until 8:00 PM!! While you are there, grab a snack from one of our food vendors; prices vary. Once the family fun wraps up at 8:00 PM, find your comfy spot in the park and get ready for our fantastic fireworks display! The fireworks show will begin at dark, around 9:1
